Integrated Care
What Does Integrated Mental Health Treatment Mean?
Integrated Treatment
Because Dr. Hajek approaches patient care from a holistic perspective, Mill Creek Psychiatry primarily offers “integrated” mental health treatment. This means that medication management and psychotherapy are both provided by one person, in this case Dr. Hajek.
Many people prefer the integrated treatment method because it saves both time (one visit rather than two) and money (one copay instead of two).
Split Treatment
On a case by case basis, Dr. Hajek also offers “split” behavioral health treatment. This means that that treatment is divided into two separate components, each provided by a different person. In this situation, medication management accompanied by limited psychotherapy would be provided by Dr. Hajek, and the bulk of the counseling would be provided by a community therapist.
